How to sync a google calendar event with WA Reminders
1. You need a paid plan
To use Google Calendar sync, you need an active paid subscription in WA Reminders.
2. You need to 'log in with google' in wa reminders
Use Google Sign In when creating your account or logging in to WA Reminders.
Do not use email/password login for Google Calendar sync.
If you're already signed in, log out and re-login with Google to WA Reminders.
3. You need to enable in Gcal settings
Go to Google Calendar settings, set your message and timing, enable sync, and save.
4. You need to add a calendar
In `/dashboard/gcal`, add the calendar(s) you want to sync.
5. You go to your google calendar and make sure you are using the same email/user than the one you looged in to in wareminders
Open Google Calendar with the same Google account you used to log in to WA Reminders.
6. You need to create an event, make sure it is using the same calendar that you added previously in /gcal
Create the event in one of the calendars you selected in `/dashboard/gcal`.
7. You need to add in title or description an international formatted number, remember to leave a whitespace before and after the number
Add a full international number (with +) in the event title or description.
Correct examples:
Appointment with Jane +433364090478
Remember your appointment
Phone: +433364090478
Avoid adding punctuation right next to the number (for example commas or dots attached to the number).
8. If all of this worked, you should see the event in /dashboard
If sync is configured correctly, you should see the scheduled message in /dashboard.
9. Google cal sync only shows in /dashboard the events that have a phone number in it are are in the calendar you added
Only events that contain a valid phone number and belong to a synced calendar are shown in your dashboard scheduled list.
10. You can add up to 4 calendars to google calendar sync
Google Calendar sync supports up to 4 calendars at the same time.
11. We support one time events and recurrying events for google calendar sync
WA Reminders supports one-time and recurring events.
